Some folks in the technology circle is a little rattled by the announcement that Alexa made. They have a new ranking system now. When they show the rankings previously, it was geared towards analysis of those who had installed the Alexa Toolbar. However, many people beyong the Alexa Toolbar users had been interested in Alexa's rankings that they now aggregate the rankings through multiple sources. The new rankings should better reflect the interests and surfing habits of the broader population of Web users.
Personally, my blog here at ChatnChill has increased a little as I am no tech blogger. But my newer blog CoolChatBlog was decreased by half now standing at 3 million + ranking. So nothing to complain about here. I shall see what happens when they tweak more of their methods to get better readings of a site.
