I just thought this picture is beautiful. At first I thought there were zebras and horses but then I realized those were the shadow.

Giant Chess Board

It doesn't look very impressive here but this is actually a giant chessboard. The type that you need to literally pick up the chess pieces with one or both hands and walk across the stone chessboard to put your pieces down. This is really fun and good for an exercise of the brain and brawn too. Have you played these type of board games before?

Pulau Ketam

1. Air conditioned boats.
2. Restaurants on stilts. Actually the whole small town in on stilts.
3. Dried shrimps, seaweed and other seafood for sale.

Sirocco-The Dome at Bangkok

Sirocco is a restaurant that opened in 2003 on the top of one of the tallest building in Thailand. I think I will let the photos speak for themselves.

Sushi Set

Are you able to get sushi from your place? Do you like it? Many folks find it challenging to eat after knowing that the fish is not cooked and those orange stuff are fish eggs. It took some time for me to be able to eat those orange stuff too but I love it now.

Sushi is available at popular supermarkets at my place. I think to cater for the taste to the locals, some sushi has mayonnaise or at least boiled or steamed vegetables instead of just raw salmon. By the way I do like the raw salmon now as well.

Monkeying around

Believe it or not there are monkeys living near my apartment in the wild. I mean there is a small park with trees that is not caged or fence off. We are allowed to enter for free but there are monkeys living in there. Some people from my apartment feed them but I am not sure if there are any park keepers or attendants. Sometimes when the monkeys got too hungry, they will even venture to the shops at the ground floor of my apartment because they spotted bananas in the shops! They would sit nearby and eye the bananas.

Nougat is a term used to describe a variety of similar confectioneries made with sugar or honey, roasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios or hazelnuts are common, but not peanuts) and sometimes chopped candied fruit. The consistency of nougat can range from chewy to hard depending on its composition, and it is used in a variety of candy bars and/or chocolates. Someone was saying that this can be likened to harden marshmallows.I like the soft type though. There are also nougat cakes. Yummy!
