1. Are you named after anyone? Would you name a child of yours after you?
I don't think I was named after anyone. I wouldn't name a child after me. It is confusing enough during the history lessons to know Henry IV or Elizabeth II, etc. Not that my name is Henry or Elizabeth.

2. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name be? If you could switch names with a friend who would it be?
For this, I would need to ask my parents. But my brother's name is Rudy. If that is my parent's first choice in boy's name and I am the first child, most likely that will be it. I like the name Amanda and none of my friend's is named that. The closest name that I would like to exchange with a friend is perhaps Verona.

3. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do with your name constantly? Would you drop your last name if you became famous?
No typos as my name Serena is well known. Hmm...I take my husband's name now, so not sure how to answer this dropping name thing. Too sensitive.

4. Name two celebrities that have really great names. Name two celebrities that in your opinion have strange names.
Great names: Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn

5. Do you like your name? Does your name have a special meaning?
I like my name Serena. The girl's name Serena \s(e)-re-na is pronounced ser-REE-nah, ser-RAY-nah. It is of Latin origin, and its meaning is "serene, calm".

1. What two things do you “have” to wear when it is chilly/cold outside?

Scarf for the neck and sweater. There is no four seasons in Malaysia but when I go to the highlands, I can wear the scarf and sweater.

2. What are two good things about wintry weather?
Feel less tired than hot weather. Air seems clearer in the cold.

3. What two things do you really dislike about wintry weather?

Based on my vacation to Canada some years back, what I dislike about wintry weather is not much activities can be done outdoors and the roads are not safe for driving. Another thing, need to shove snow away from pavement and vehicles are not much fun either.

4. On average, how cold does it get in your city/town and how long does the cold weather last?
There is no winter here. Coldest if you can even call it sold is about 26-28 degree Celsius!!!

5. Would you rather be stuck at home because of a blizzard or flooding?
No, I would not.

Actions speaks louder than words. But words are important too.

I forgive easily. I have a poor memory in this aspect.

What is the last lie you told? What is the last lie someone told you?
I exercise my right to remain "silent" for this question. Lies are not something to be taken lightly nor tolerated for me personally and my household no matter how small or insignificant.

Would you rather be with someone for the wrong reason or alone for the right reason?
If it is a marriage partner, barring excruciating circumstances such as life threatening issues to self or others (though I have no children) and other such circumstances, I would stick to the husband and work things out no matter how difficult it can be.

If it is some other relationships like friends, be alone for the right reason. Such as when so called friends decide to lead immoral lives, risking their lives with extremes, then no point in carrying on the relationship.

Health

1. Do you take vitamins and if so, what?
Spirulina

2. Do you make an effort to eat healthy, or you eat whatever you feel like eating?
I eat what I feel like eating but sometimes health does not permit. I have eczema and can't take too much seafood nor diary products.

3. What two types of food do you have a hard time staying away from?
Pizza and fried chicken.

4. What are two food items you refuse to eat?
Liver and intestines. (In chinese dish called Bak Kut Teh)

5. Are you pleased with your daily diet or do you think it could be better?
Should take more vegetables and fruits for sure.

Worry Wart

What two things in your life do you worry about the most?
My brother and my sister. Both are living abroad. I am the eldest and can't help worrying about them.

What two things in your life do you worry about the least?
Budgeting about family expenses (taken care of by hubby dearest) and death (old age is a different matter though).

Does worrying cause you physical pain or not? If yes, what?
When I think too much, it does cause sleeplessness and that will bring headaches and fatigue. For me also the outbreak of eczema when under stress.

What are two things/ways do you use/do to ease your worries?
Discuss and talk with hubby. He knows how to reduce my stress level. Read the Bible and prayer.

What are two things you would give up in your life just to be worry-free?
Money and material things. But realistically speaking, that may cause other worries too.

Have a crush...I am not too sure about my admirers though.
