Spectacles and me

I still remember when I realized that I need to wear spectacles about hmm...20 years ago. I was kind of devastated for spectacles was not known to me as a "fashion statement" then. It was a defect. I had a defect. An obvious one on the face. I was worried about making the "wrong" impressions to my peers. Nevertheless, a pair of spectacles I do need.

These days, folks purposely get those frameless spectacles, sunglasses of course, etc. Things have surely changed since then. Then there is contact lens...which I have not got the nerve to try. And Lasik surgery...most out of question. Sp specky I am...Sigh!
