Have you tried nougats before?

Nougat is a term used to describe a variety of similar confectioneries made with sugar or honey, roasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios or hazelnuts are common, but not peanuts) and sometimes chopped candied fruit. The consistency of nougat can range from chewy to hard depending on its composition, and it is used in a variety of candy bars and/or chocolates. Someone was saying that this can be likened to harden marshmallows.I like the soft type though. There are also nougat cakes. Yummy!

  3. Thanks for dropping by my WW. I haven't had nougat for a bunch of years. I used to enjoy it a lot. I see you and I have read some of the same books: The DaVinci Code and some of the Grisham titles.
