Professional Doctors and Caregivers at Cliffside Malibu Drug Rehab

Many of us would probably have a preconceived idea about drug abuse and drug addiction. More so that the movies stereotyped drug addicts as criminals or people low on morals. Parents, teens, older adults, and other members of the community tend to believe that drug abusers and addicts should be able to stop taking drugs if they are willing to change their behavior. These has no doubt makes it difficult for their families, their communities, and the health care professionals who work with them to help them on the road to rehabilitation.

Real experience and research shows that drug addiction is a chronic, relapsing, and treatable disease. It is a disease with both physical and psychological roots and therefore rehabilitation needs to address these two factors to deal with it successfully. Drug Rehab must then be able to cleanse the addict's system and treat the mind off dependency of the drug used.

Addiction Treatment is not one man's fight. Those addicted to drugs suffer from a compulsive drug craving and usage and cannot quit by themselves. Treatment by professional doctors and caregivers are necessary to end this compulsive behavior. After the detox period, patients need to supplement their bodies with nutritious food and proper fitness programs to regain their strength.

Cliffside Malibu is a drug rehab, alcohol rehab center and extended care facility for adults suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, eating disorders, depression, and other co-occurring disorders. Their drug treatment philosophy incorporates a variety of clinical components to create a comprehensive and effective addiction treatment program. Alcohol Treatment and drug rehab include detox, individual therapy, group therapy, depression treatment, and alternative medicine.

  1. Caregivers provide practical support such as shopping, housekeeping, and transportation to clinics, as well as more basic assistance such as help with bathing, going to the bathroom, and feeding. As symptoms worsen, caregivers are also likely to take on more clinical roles such as keeping track of medications, giving injections, inserting catheters, and cleaning wounds.

  2. Many resurantes and cafes are funded with 'drug' money. Hell, in the hurtlands,
whole communities are kept alive with drug money. The politicans let it continue,
simply because, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, their rich and powerful friends profits may go down.
    Thanks for posting.......
