Trek and Travel through New Zealand

Photographer: Kieran Scott
Auckland is a lovely, modern city in the North Island of New Zealand. Auckland is made up of Auckland City, home to over 400,000 people, Manukau City, North Shore City and Waitakere City and it also comprises Waiheke Island, the Little and Great Barrier Islands and the Mokohinau Islands which are actually about 100 km from the main business centre of Auckland – so as you can appreciate, it is a vast and sprawling city and one that is home to a vast array of different communities.

Auckland is New Zealand’s premier convention and incentive destination with a diverse range of hotels, venues, attractions and touring options. A number of cheap hotels in Auckland are very close to major attractions and events. As a guest, you’ll appreciate the superb Auckland Hotels accommodation location that puts some the city's best attractions, entertainment and restaurants at your doorstep.

Christchurch is a vibrant and safe city with exciting festivals, art galleries, great shopping and award-winning attractions. Christchurch is fortunate to have such a diversity of parks and waterways, from neighbourhood playgrounds, sports grounds and heritage gardens, to large wilderness areas, coastal parks, wetlands and rivers. Christchurch Hotels are available from as little of NZS$45.

Wellington is also known as the Art capital of New Zealand and there are also many festivals held each year, including the Wine and Food Festival, the Dragon Boating Festival and the International Festival of the Arts. Wellington is also home to a strong and innovative theatre scene, a national opera house and the magnificent Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Offering comfortable accommodation and quality services, Wellington Hotels provides a home away from home for both.

  1. Hi everyone,
New Zealand is a fantastic place. Everything you could possibly imagine from steaming volcanic hot pools to majestic mountins rising straight out of the sea. For a head start on the great things that only us locals know about visit, full of secret and not so secret things to do in this fantastic country.

    Enjoy and have fun.

  2. That's a good summary of the popular destinations to visit in New Zealand. If you are doing more of a sightseeing holiday then I would suggest checking out the south island of New Zealand, in particular Queenstown and Milford Sound.
