Fast Nationwide Divorce Records Retrieval

We may have our own personal reasons for looking up a divorce record of someone. This may be a research as part of an overall family history project. Perhaps we wanted to know the divorce history of that special someone. If the divorce was recently granted, it generally takes up to sixty (60) days to be received by this office from the Clerk of Court. If a divorce is found, you may want to search more for some documentation from that file.

Divorce Records are stored at both the state and the county level. Marriage and Divorce records are two separate matters of record. You can search this online quickly at the privacy of your own home.

Some states have state repositories that contain all the records stored in the state at the county level. Divorce Records search can help you verify if the subject is legally divorced. This can then help you decide which states to look for depending on where the ex-spouses live or if there are no ex-spouses then there may not be any past marriage or divorce records. Other information may include criminal history, arrest records, background reports, bankruptcy records and others.
