Merchant Account Services

These days any online businesses whether offering products or services will accept credit or debit card payment forms. Some of the popular payment methods through credit or debit cards are American Express, Master Card and Visa. If not, we are probably turning more than 90% of the online visitors or potential buyers from our online business. However, to enable your website to accept credit or debits cards payment, you need to set up a merchant account. Check Accepting Credit Cards on Website for more information on how you can do so.

There are also other methods of implementing credit cards payment methods for your business. When you decide to set up your online store to sell your goods through catalogs or any form of electronic commerce you can weigh these three main methods:

  • ACH (Electronic Check Processing)
  • Card Swipes/Credit Card Processing
  • Pay By Phone/Internet/MOTO
With an online store, you do not need customers to swipe any card or require them to sign on any credit card slips. Online stores will handle credit card processing using the customer's credit card information and the three-digit security code online. The Card Swipe method is mainly for the use of walk in or dine in customers at stores and restaurants.

At A Plus Merchant ( http://www.aplusmerchant.com/), you can find more of these and other merchant account services for low rates, fast and friendly customer service support, easy application process that will save you time and money.

  1. the "card swipe" method of credit card processing is definitely unnecessary for internet businesses. it can be done, but it's a lot of extra trouble that can be avoided. the best for internet businesses would probably be 3rd party payment sites, or even online processing where you don't have any physical equipment, just enter your customer's information online.
