Let's Tweet Again

Twitter is about leaving bits of yourself to your friends in 140 characters or less. Twitter is technically micro-blogging, but the social component is it’s strongest feature. It helps people to keep in touch and keep tab of what is happening in their personal or professional life. Twitter is a free service that lets you keep in touch with people through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

Twitter is a publication because it provides me with a flow of information — some it fascinating, some of it entirely useless, some it deep, some of it trite, but it’s a classic example of the whole being SO much greater than the sum of it’s parts — and you can’t appreciate this until you are following the right mix of people whose thoughts, ideas, sentiments, life experiences, and totally random banter are interesting to you. You may want to check ted on twitter (Founder/CEO of IZEA) for an example of an interesting Twitter profile.

People follow happenings or personalities on Twitter for different reasons. While most people do it to keep up with what is happening in their friend's and associate's life but these days Twitter is also being used as a business and advertising media. There are also many services that make Twitter less tedious such as those that will automatically follow people that is following us and also connect it to blogs so as to share our latest blog posts and much more. Twitter is still a very interesting service, and as long as it remains as open as it is, we can all learn from and alongside them.
