Lake Titiwangsa Park is one of the many green lungs in Kuala Lumpur. A popular park for folks to walk, jog or just while away their time enjoying the excellent view of the Petronas Twin Towers, the Kuala Lumpur Tower and others reflected in the lake. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
Last Sunday, hubby and I went to Tasik Titiwangsa in KL for a walk and jog at the park. It has been some time since we were there and we felt really good after the walk. The Taman Tasik Titiwangsa is a really nice park with a pretty view of a lake and certain city skyline.
There are lots of trees and terrain to walk about. Certain parts of the park has small hills for people who would like to accelerate their heart beat or train their stamina while they walk or jog.
There are many benches and outdoor tables and chairs for picnics. There are gazebos to shelter for the rainy days. There are also a huge playground for the young and old. Certain fitness equipment are fixed for the benefit of the public.
There are many activities for the family happening there. One of the popular activity is line dancing. It really surprises me how this fun activity has caught on here in Malaysia. Large groups of people lining to dance and exercise along with fun beat music.
