What is your idea of a dull evening?

I am not sure why this topic sounds interesting for me to write about even. I mean my idea of a dull evening? Duh...ok, perhaps I am feeling kind of dull myself. Back to my idea of a dull evening, sitting in front of the laptop and playing computer games. Not that there isn't blog work to do, just that sometimes I don't have the mood to do anything. I only chat with one person online which is my brother who is living abroad but he holds a full time secular job while I am just a full time housewife. So only get to meet him online at night and that too with the different time zone only for a short while.

Now another thing that I do is reading. I wouldn't by all means call reading an interesting novel a dull evening. I have spent nights without sleep just to finish a very engrossing novel. That is good entertainment for me. I dislike television and do not have one at home now. Sometimes I do watch a movie or two but not that much these days either. So have I really answered the question? Dull evening would be aimlessly sitting in front of the laptop with no particular purpose in mind except writing valueless rambling post like this...

1) What is the worst experience you have ever had in a car?

I was resting with my eyes closed while hubby was driving. Then something made me open my eyes and I saw a speeding bus turning a steep corner losing control with its tail just inches away from the car. The bus then spin a full round of 360° and overturned by the curb. We barely made it but fortunately our side of the road curb was wide and hubby managed to drive to the side to avoid the collision. Surprisingly none of the passengers were hurt even though the bus was lying on its side by then.

2) Who is your personal hero, and why?

Jesus as he was the role model for someone who had strong faith in God.

3) Name the one thing you have done that has caused you the most guilt during your lifetime.

I don't know how to answer this question. I try to look forward instead of regretting the past. If I had wronged anyone, I try to make amends as soon as I can.

What type of water do you drink?

What type of water do you drink? I mean there was this question posted at one of the forum that I am participating now. Whether it is safe to drink from the tap or do we prefer bottled water. Perhaps in some countries it is safe to drink from the tap but certainly not in Malaysia. Even in the city, the water is too contaminated.

I use a distiller at my home. See the photo. I pour tap water into the container. Then it boils the water and when the boiled water evaporates, the fan on top (cover of distiller) cools the vapour and water flows out into plastic container. That water is sweet. I am not kidding. The ants come for it. But this water is really clean and pure with no chemicals added. It simulates the natural water cycle but without pollution. The sediments and rust that are left over after the distillation process proves to me that tap water at my place is not safe for drinking even after boiling.

For my family would be trust, love and respect. For the world would be love, justice and peace. I think love is the common value here. When dealing with a close one and the world in general, I think other issues and values take precedence.

This is hard. I have a sweet tooth and I generally like candy. If I absolutely have to choose, I think soft sticky ones are what I dislike. I mean those that stick to the teeth and you need to keep chewing until they dissolve or something. They make my jaws ache.

None of my friends would want to be the next Pope!

Just wondering here why a small narrow road like this would have a SLOW sign painted on it? I mean is there a likelihood any vehicle would speed on this narrow road in the first place? Perhaps it is to warn of animals crossing but would make more sense to have those sign board ones than painted on the road.
