How to Manage Conflicts?

No matter what our communication style or family background, there are some damaging patterns of speech that must be avoided to manage conflicts effectively. For example, if we have the urge to retaliate. Retaliation only leads to anger and an escalation of the disagreement. Instead of retaliating, know that the quickest way to take the heat out of a quarrel is to acknowledge your mate's viewpoint and to apologize for your part of the conflict.

Do you minimize or belittle your spouse's feelings? Granted that not everyone sees the same situation in the same way, but if your spouse is clearly distraught about a matter, your first reaction may be to say, "You're just overreacting." You may have the intention to help your mate to see the problem from a different angle but more often than not this comment makes your spouse feel more angry than comforted. Both wives and husbands need to know that the people whom they love understand and empathize with them.

Give extra thought to how you react when your mate expresses his or her concern. Do your words, tone of voice, and facial expressions convey empathy? Or do you tend to quickly dismiss your mate's feelings?

Do you often assume that your partner's motives are selfish? For instance, if your mate does something nice for you, do you wonder what he or she wants or is covering up? If your mate makes a mistake, do you view this failing as confirmation that he or she is selfish and uncaring? Do you immediately recall similar mistakes from the past and add this one to the list? Can you try this out instead? Make a list of the positive things that your mate has done for you and the good motives that could have prompted these actions.

Managing Conflicts

To err is humane. So if a couple argue, does this mean that they no longer love each other? The answer is no. Even in the best of marriages, there will occasionally be some conflict. Although most married couples want to treat each other in a loving and kind manner, we are imperfect and will make mistakes. So when disagreements arise, emotions may be difficult to control. Once an argument starts, some may find it a real challenge to curb bad habits such as screaming and abusive speech.

Sometimes factors such as different communication styles between the male and female can be the cause of such contention where one wants to discuss a problem in detail but the other are just interested in the end result. Another factor could be the family background in which one was raised up in. Some families are quiet and finds confrontation difficult and uncomfortable whereas there are folks that are very expressive and they have no problems letting others know how they feel.

Interestingly researchers have found that the most reliable indicator of how happy a marriage will be is not how often the couple say they love each other. Sexual compatibility and financial security are not the most important factors either. Instead, the most dependable indicator of marital success is how well husband and wife manage any conflicts that arise.

Nescafe Gold Blend

I have always liked Nescafe Gold Blend Coffee. It has a distinct soothing flavour rather than overly strong which causes headachy feeling for me. So I am pleasantly surprise that they came up with a 3 in 1 pack now which I can use even while on the move. Cool indeed.

Blog Advertising and Paid Blogging

When I started to learn about earning online, I did so with a lot of trial and error. Nevertheless, there is a rather stable market for bloggers who can write about a variety of topics. There are many market for good bloggers who would like to earn. Blog Advertising is one avenue for revenue open to bloggers. By writing about some review on sites and products, they can offer their readers some extra product knowledge or what is out there on the internet. The advertisers get their products and services to a wider audience while bloggers also earn legitimate income through their hard work and research for their assignments.

Paid Blogging is a fine way to reward bloggers who are looking to earn income without risk manner. After all you are being paid for your expertise, your talent in writing and convincing your readers about the benefits of certain products or services. The internet is a portal or gateway to information and this is where bloggers and advertisers can meet to exchange their goods and services.

Donate a Boat to Help the Homeless Teens

Have you ever thought about how much your old boat is worth? I mean sometimes after the depreciation, we may wonder if it is worth the cost of repair and the time to maintain it? What if I told you that your old boat is worth the education and hope of a better future life of some homeless children? It is worth the value of giving needed help and education to anti-drugs documentaries? That would really be worth something far of greater value than monetary sense, don't you think so?

Angel Ministries is the root of Boat Angel, where they use boat donations to create children's animations and anti-drug documentaries. There are movies that you can watch online as well as free DVDs created to promote good morals, learn life's lessons, benefit from the quotes from nearly one-hundred well-respected leaders, authors, and states humanitarians. There are also projects to construct a permanent 5,000 square foot building, estimated cost upon completion $200,000 for the benefit and use of teen boys rehabilitation homes, help these young people get away from the influence of gangs, drugs, and the inner city and provide uplifting books into prisons.

Whether you are intending to donate a boat, car, plane, house or RV, there are also personal advantages to you. You can receive
your IRS tax deduction for the automobile, RV, boat, plane, or trailer. Pick up of the vehicle will be handled for you whether the vehicle is in running condition or not. All the hard work and hassle of scheduling towing, title transfers and your donation process is swift, and professional. The motto of "help us help others!" can be put to action through the site: http://www.carangel.com/

So if you have a boat to donate, please fill in the online form or contact the toll free number

Quality Audio Consoles

Many times we may feel at peace within our inner self when we listen to music and singing from the church. No doubt if we have just listen to a spiritual sermon, that is cause for peace but the church sound has a lot to do with the audio consoles as well.

What are audio consoles? An audio console is
an electronic device for combining (also called "mixing"), routing, and changing the level, timbre and/or dynamics of audio signals. A mixer can mix analog or digital signals, depending on the type of mixer. The modified signals (voltages or digital samples) are summed to produce the combined output signals.

Mixing consoles are used in many applications, including recording studios, public address systems, sound reinforcement systems, concert tours, music festivals, broadcasting, television, and film post-production. An example of a simple application would be to enable the signals that originated from two separate microphones (each being used by vocalists singing a duet, perhaps) to be heard through one set of speakers simultaneously. When used for live performances, the signal produced by the mixer will usually be sent directly to an amplifier, unless that particular mixer is “powered” or it is being connected to powered speakers. These applications make the church music sound "heavenly".

You can find out more about these high quality branded audio consoles or even if you are thinking about audio rental at Hi-Tech Audio.

Searching for the Perfect Web Hosting

Many webmasters and bloggers have had the unfortunate experience of having their hosting companies play out on them at some crucial moments. It causes panic and frustration, not to mentioned the fear of wondering whether they will see all their hard again or they are all down the drain so to speak. It is therefore not surprising that serious bloggers and webmasters would spend some quality time searching for the best web hosting there is out there.

Please read through the blog to see how the blogger had hunted and researched through some of the best hosting companies there is out there and came to the conclusion of finding the perfect hosting through personal experiences. You can benefit from his research rather than having to suffer losing important data and files if your hosting company goes down on your sites. Feel free to give your comments or offer better suggestions as in the multitude of counselors there is accomplishment.

Are Fixed Rate Mortgages Still Popular?

There have been a trend of first time property buyers being attracted to tracker rates (interest rate tied with the Bank of England base rate) rather than fixed-rate mortgages due to anticipation of interest rate cuts. Fixed Rate Mortgages are the most classic form of loan for home and product purchasing in the United States. The most common terms are 15-year and 30-year mortgages, but shorter terms are available, and 40-year and 50-year mortgages are now available for high priced housing.

However, in some
some countries, true fixed-rate mortgages are not available except for shorter-term loans. For example, in Canada the longest term for which a mortgage rate can be fixed is typically no more than ten years, while mortgage maturities are commonly 25 years. When there is some anticipation of a decrease in interest rates, it is likely that new potential home owners would easily opt for tracker mortgages or variable rate mortgages.

Niagara Falls

Have you ever been to the Niagara Falls which is located between the border of Canada and the United States? I went there in 1994 when I visited my aunt who lives in Ontario, Canada. The Niagara Falls is about 120km from Toronto, Ontario. Water flowing from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario carved a gorge past the Niagara escarpment and over time, it has eroded the shale below the hard dolomitic rock at the top. More than six million cubic feet (168,000 m³) of water fall over the crest line every minute in high flow and almost 4 million cubic feet (110,000 m³) on average. It is the most powerful waterfall in North America. The water flows at the astonishing rate of 56.3 kph (35 mph). The falls are currently retreating at a rate of about 1m (3ft) a year.

I did not get the opportunity to go on the boat cruise Maid of the Mist which takes visitors up the gorge to the base of the Horseshoe falls for a truly dramatic and wet experience not to mention the photogenic view as the sun creates rainbow in the mists. However, I did have the opportunity to go in the underground walkways leading into observation rooms which yield the illusion of being within the falling waters. Naturally the sound was deafening when you are faced with the sheer noise of almost 185,000 cubic m (6,600,000 cubic ft) of water roaring into the gorge every minute. It is very astounding and amazing experience indeed. And you can feel the power of the falls and speech in the midst of these forces is unnecessary.

Recyclable Plastic Material

There is a huge market place for buying and selling plastic scraps. Recycled plastic material such as the HDPE (short for High Density Polyethylene) is constantly in demand because they can be used in snack food packages and cereal box liners. In different forms, these recycled plastic can be used for making margarine tubs, deli food and whipped toppings, detergent bottles, milk jugs, garbage containers, water pipes (plumbing) as well as packaging for industrial chemicals such as detergents, bleach and acids.

HDPE that consists of only High Density Polyethylene is the recyclable part and when these plastic scraps are
sorted and cleaned, the more it is worth on the recycle market. High Density PolyEthylene Scrap comes in various forms. It can be baled, loose, compacted into secure bundles (cubicles), rolls, grinded into flakes, etc. For more information on current price list please fill in the contact form provided at the site.

Spring Edition

1. Does your household do spring cleaning?
We clean the whole house once every 3-4 months. Of course there are daily and weekly chores as well.

2. Do you approach spring with joy for all the newly growing things and the sight of grass, or does it just scream MUDDY FLOORS AND MOPPING?
We don't have the four seasons here in Malaysia. It is a tropical country with rain and shine all year round. So we also have greens all year round. As for muddy floors, there are certain places that are hit by flash floods after sudden heavy rain and people will need to evacuate if flood water rises.

3. Do you have a garden that you will be planting and, if so, what do you plant?
No, I don't have a garden. I lived in a high rise apartment building which is not practical for planting anything.

4. What is your favorite thing about springtime?
I guess it is spring here everyday in Malaysia. It is warm.

Personal Cash Advance

It is not at all that difficult to apply for pay day loans these days. Just by filling out a short online form some companies may even approved your application overnight or within the same day. The prerequisite or requirement needed is that you need to be a citizen of the United States. You have to be over the age of 18 years. Also, you need to be an employed person earning at least $1000 per month. You need to have a checking bank account. The company you are applying to will verify these particulars before advancing a loan to you. However, bankruptcy, bounced-checks, charge-offs and other credit problems don’t prevent you from receiving the cash advance you need. Please check the terms and conditions that apply to each company.

As the term pay day loan implies, this is actually a short term personal loan that is use for the purpose of small emergency expenses.
For sudden emergencies, when you need a small amount of cash, you cannot afford to run around looking for a lender. Most lending agencies are not interested in lending small amounts of cash either. Same day pay day loan is approved within 24 hours, and you can rest assured that you will be able to tide over the financial crunch for the month. This type of loan can help avoid an otherwise costly bounced-check fees and late payment penalties.

Zebra Crossing

I just thought this picture is beautiful. At first I thought there were zebras and horses but then I realized those were the shadow.

The Spiderwick Chronicles

The Spiderwick Chronicles takes place in New England, United States. Mrs. Grace, recently divorced, wants a new start for her family, consisting of herself, her teenage daughter Mallory and her younger twin sons Simon and Jared. They move into the Spiderwick Estate when it is given to them by their elderly great-aunt Lucinda, Arthur Spiderwick's daughter. Jared does not like the move. He has often been naughty, and now tends to be blamed for every unpleasant thing that happens.

Mallory uncovers a dumbwaiter system behind a wall; in it, Jared finds a monogrammed key. He also discovers Arthur Spiderwick's study, and when he uses the key to open a chest, he finds Spiderwick's Field Guide to faeries written by Arthur Spiderwick. Although an attached note warns him not to read it, he does.

They soon begin to notice faeries throughout the estate. However, Mulgarath, a shape-shifting ogre, wants the field guide so he can rule over all faerie-kind (and possibly humans as well) and so attacks the children in an attempt to obtain it. They try to burn the book but it is fire proof and even stays cold.

Later, Jared meets a brownie named Thimbletack, who explains that magical creatures are normally invisible but can reveal themselves at will. He tells Jared about a protective circle that Arthur Spiderwick placed around the house and gives him a stone with a hole which lets him see faeries. Simon, mistaken for Jared, is kidnapped by Mulgarath's goblins, while Jared meets Hogsqueal, a hobgoblin who gives Jared the ability to see all faeries without the aid of the stone. With Mallory's help, the twins escape from the goblins into the house.

While Simon distracts the monsters, Jared and Mallory manage to reach a tunnel they take to visit their great-aunt Lucinda for advice. She tells them that only one person can help: Arthur Spiderwick. However, he was "rescued" by Sylphs, a type of faerie, when goblins attacked, and they will not let him return because they desire his knowledge. Lucinda tells them to find her father and have him destroy the book. Suddenly, Mulgarath's goblins attack them and steal several pages from the book before they are driven off.

Meanwhile, Simon, aided by Thimbletack, has employed his time to fill plastic bags with tomato sauce, which burn goblins like acid. The siblings use the book to summon Arthur Spiderwick's pet, a griffin, which takes them to the realms of the Sylphs. There they meet Arthur Spiderwick, who has not aged but is also unaware of the time he has spent there. Spiderwick initially does not want to leave, but eventually changes his mind, and the three escape on the griffin.

On their return, Hogsqueal warns them that one of the stolen pages will allow Mulgurath to destroy the protective circle when the moon waxes full. The family arms themselves with steel knives and tomato sauce. When they are forced into the kitchen, they place all of their tomato sauce and salt into the oven and hide before detonating it, killing all of the goblins.

Mr. Grace enters the house and tells Jared that he came to apologize; however, Jared discovers that he is an imposter and stabs him in the stomach. He turns out to be Mulgarath in disguise. Jared escapes with the book through the dumbwaiter while Mulgarath transforms into a python and gives pursuit. On the roof, Jared throws the book onto the lawn; as Mulgarath transforms into a raven to catch it, he is snatched and eaten by Hogsqueal.

The Graces bring Lucinda back to the house; and the Sylphs appear, bringing Arthur. However, he cannot remain, because his age would return to him all at once and kill him. Instead, Lucinda asks to be taken with him, and so the Sylphs transform her back into her six-year-old self and spirit the two away.

There is something both miraculous and soothing about being around living, growing things that don't talk back back. Although some of us will immediately think of babies or pets, I am talking about the flora variety. Working in your garden or taking a walk in the park is a natural stress reliever. Breathe in the fragrance of freshly turned earth. Watch trees dance in the wind. Look for hidden wildflowers or as someone say, Go Smell the Flowers.

Even out of season, when the trees are bare and the grass has turned to straw, you'll be amazed at the life you'll find hiding in the most unexpected places. All it takes is slowing down long enough to look. For a city folk like me, I do yearn to find nice parks that are pleasing to the eyes and nose (away from the exhaust fumes from motor vehicles). When life is anything but "a walk in the park," that's the best time to have one.

Identity Theft Prevention Product

I had my first experience with identity theft sometime early last year. Although it didn't result in any monetary lost but it was a very scary experience. My account at a forum that I was active at was hacked and someone posted there with my name and account and also changed my signature to promote their stuff. I was really in a panic then. I have to set up new account and inform friends and administration at the forum of this situation.

I can just imagine if this were to happen to someone's credit card or even commit crime with another person's identity.
The crime takes many forms. Identity thieves may rent an apartment, obtain a credit card, or establish a telephone account in your name. You may not find out about the theft until you review your credit report or a credit card statement and notice charges you didn’t make—or until you’re contacted by a debt collector.

One of the solution is to get Identity Theft Prevention Product such as Debix or LoudSiren. These are services that will provide you with fraud alert, protect your privacy and phone numbers, and reimbursement should there be any lost while using their product. For more information and comparison with another popular product, please go to Debix.com

Credit Cards to repair Poor Credit Rating

Sometimes when things or business doesn't go according to our plans, we may end up on the verge of bankruptcy and a whole lot of debts and bad credit. At the same time we would still need to get a credit card for our personal use. What is the alternative? There is the option of
bad credit credit cards that can actually help us rebuild our credit rating if managed properly.

The company issuing such credit cards for bad credit have experiences in dealing and handling customers with bad credit rating. Therefore, they are in a better position to advise a customer on how to manage their finances. A bad credit credit card is a secured credit card whereby you need to have the actual amount of cash before you can spend it. However, the benefits of being able to use a credit card during emergencies will far out weigh the trouble of not being able to pay for in certain emergency situations.

Week Number 109

1) If you spoke English with an accent other than the one you currently have, how would you chose to sound?
Hmm...if I am still living where I am living, I guess I sound alright. Otherwise, I would be unintelligible. Sometimes I cringe when I listen to certain people speak. They sound all weird and like a fake.

2) Be honest: how do you feel about people who smoke?
I hate it. Smoking is not natural. We would be alarm and douse a machine if it smokes. What more, a living being? So it is all true and real that smoking kills. It has to because common sense tells us that living things can't survive for long if we smoked it. I would literally distance myself physically from a smoker.

3) Whose death touched your own sense of mortality the most?
I guess none yet because I haven't been able to relate to anyone's death to myself.

4) What has been the most difficult promise you have ever kept? Why?
I am not sure about this question. I try not to make promises that I can't keep.

5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

Cute Baby Clothes

Ah, a new addition to the family! What a joy and delightful occasion. These are truly exciting times ahead for the new daddy and mommy. There are just so much that needs to be done before and after the arrival of the new baby into the family. Whether we are doing this for the very first time or second or third, we can never say that we are ready. One of the tasks that need to be address is the purchasing of baby clothes.

There is the need in striking a balance between practical and cute, fashionable and comfortable, need and impulse, and night and day can all play their part in affecting decisions on what baby clothes to buy, and in what quantity. One of the anxieties that always plagues parent's mind in choosing baby clothes are the fact that babies grow so quickly. You do not necessarily buy to fit now, but fit for the next few months if at all possible.

Though there may be many designs and fashion for baby wear out there, you will need to pay more than the usual attention when selecting the night wear or sleepwear. The baby sleepwear will likely outweigh the other categories such as daytime clothes or clothes for going out, as sleeping is what babies spend most of their time doing in the early stages. But how do you decide what numbers to buy of each? Well, that may depend on how often you want to do laundry, but you will soon find a level that suits both your routine and the level of cleanliness and smartness you want for your baby.

By the way, these cute baby clothes also serves as great gifts for baby showers or just a gift to say, "You are special." There are hats and cute logos to make your baby stand out and create a buzz out there!

Problem Shared Problem Halved

Having a heart to heart talk with a good friend gives us a chance to vent all of the frustrations and life's ups and downs, disappointments, and pent up emotions that we've been carrying around can really stress us out. When we explain our problems to someone and put thoughts into words, the process can help us sort out the trivial from the traumatic. Many a times, I would approach my close friend almost on the verge of tears and panic only to smile and feel so much lighter emotionally afterwards.

There is no mystery to this, even when the problem does not resolve by talking, at the very least the burden felt halved when shared. Discussing stressors in our life also helps us organize and categorize them in our own mind, leading us closer to a possible resolution. Many a times, hearing someone say, "That must be tough," is a good reminder that we are not to feel guilty about being stressed when life is difficult. It also gives us the reassurance that we are not alone in facing life's challenges.

A true friend only gets in your way when you are heading in the wrong direction.

Fashion Schools

I have to admit that some people have the gift the fashion sense in them. I mean they just somehow "knew" what looked nice and what didn't. For example, have you ever been out with a friend that have the eye for a special piece of clothing? It just glares at them when we can't even see it if it is in front of us? They can even tell you things like "I bet this looks good with a flare skirt," or "If only this dress is made of silk."

Are YOU this type of person? Then you might want to think about going to fashion schools in California or fashion schools in Los Angeles. There are times when you may have ideas or thoughts such as you can design something better than the piece of clothing you are browsing at the shops, you feel a keen sense to rate and discuss fashion shows, you have sensitive touch to the fabric and could "envision" how a certain evening gown or party frock would look like. Then perhaps you might want to heighten your talents by enrolling in a fashion school in California.

Jodhaa Akhbar

Jodhaa Akbar is a sixteenth century love story about a marriage of alliance that gave birth to true love between a great Mughal emperor, Akbar, and a Rajput princess, Jodhaa.

Political success knew no bounds for Emperor Akbar (Hrithik Roshan). After having secured the Hindu Kush, he furthered his realm by conquest until his empire extended from Afghanistan to the Bay of Bengal, and from the Himalayas to the Godavari River. Through a shrewd blend of diplomacy, intimidation and brute force , Akbar won the allegiance of the Rajputs. But little did Akbar know that when he married Jodhaa (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), a fiery Rajput princess, in order to further strengthen his relations with the Rajputs, he would in turn be embarking upon a new journey – the journey of true love.

The daughter of King Bharmal of Amer, Jodhaa resented being reduced to a mere political pawn in this marriage of alliance, and Akbar’s biggest challenge now did not merely lie in winning battles, but in winning the love of Jodhaa – a love hidden deep below resentment and extreme prejudice. Jodhaa-Akbar is their untold love story.

I used to go for facial. It is supposed to just clean out the pores but the face massage is so soothing that I can almost fall asleep on the couch. I feel very pampered indeed. It is costly though for the facial products and the treatment. I can't remember the brand of facial products that was used now. Stuff like cleanser, exfoliate cream, toning lotion, moisturizer, etc. It has been ages since I had one. sigh

3. TV and books: Do you have a guilty pleasure when it comes to reading or watching TV? You know, a show or a book that you just don’t want to admit you read or watch AND enjoy? Give up the dirt!

Hmm...I do read romance novels but nowadays I am more into Jodi Picoult's books. The books are showed case on my Shelfari bookshelf at the bottom of my blog. I don't watch television at all now and I don't have one for more than 6 months now. raised eyebrow

4. Shopping: Most everyone has something that is nearly impossible to avoid buying, regardless of whether or not you need it What is that thing for you? Nail polish, yarn, shoes? Something else?!

Books and nothing else. I only buy those other stuff when really necessary. My weakness is books. I can't stop buying them even though there are still some unwrapped in plastic cover because I have no time to read them.

Simple Tips About Car Insurance

A car is almost a necessity these days especially if you lived in the city. So much time is wasted waiting for public transport, in my part of the world that is, makes commuting by public transport a hassle and troublesome. Whereas it is rather easy to buy a car these days, but the more intricate stuff of maintaining and buying car insurance seems to baffle many. Do we really have a choice here or should we just let the sales person handle it all?

Shopping for Car Insurance need not be complicated or confusing. Some common sense and pointers would suffice. We can help lessen our auto insurance premium if we have a clean driving track record. So don't go accumulating parking or speeding tickets there. Obviously, what we use our vehicle for is also part of the determining factor for the insurance coverage. Think of a car that is just use for driving to work versus one that is for jungle trekking or to carry heavy load.

If you happen to need more than one type of insurance such as auto insurance and home insurance, you can have more bargaining power with the company. Ask for discounts
for air bags, anti-lock brakes, daytime running lights and anti-theft devices. Another tip can be searching out for newer companies which would offer a better deal than more established ones. Compare prices and be informed.

1. What kind of patient are you? The demanding never happy kind, the leave me the h*ll alone kind, or the grateful kind? Or some combination of them?!

I would like some tender, loving, care when I am having flu. Like have my hubby sit by the bedside and hold my hand for a while. But most of all I need sleep when I am having flu.

2. Are you a good nurse, or do sick people make you want to run for it?

I don't think I am a good nurse. When I think of how I wanted hubby to be by my side when I am not well, he doesn't want company at all. I can give him a drink of water or hot chocolate if he is up to it but mostly he wants to rest alone. As for experiences with other people, I still think I am not a good nurse.

3. What is your favorite remedy for the flu?

I just take flu tablet and rest.

Did you know that these days credit cards are not just used for shopping or paying for your meal at a restaurant? For example there are charity and sports club credit cards that takes into considerations about the environment and atmosphere of our planet earth. What I mean is, some cards are specially made PVC-free plastic so that when the cards are incinerated, they do not release toxic chemicals into the atmosphere. So you help protect the environment when you use these type of credit cards instead.

There are also specific credit cards that will apportion some of the amount we spend on our credit cards for charity purposes. These are actually contributions from the credit card company to the charity or sports organizations on our behalf and we will not be charged extra. Onesome: Insomnia-- Ever have it? Some do and some don't, but have you ever been hounded awake for that endless hour after hour with no hope of sleep? ...or does the very act of touching head to pillow put you out for the count?

Oh, yes I do have sleepless nights. It started with my skin problem and it gets itchy during the nights when the air is still. I will stay up the whole night and only will be able to sleep during the daytime. Needless to say, this has wrecked havoc to my daily routine but I am getting used to it and trying to work around this. This has been happening for a few years now.

Twosome: the cure-- Hey, if you do have the occasional bout or chronic insomnia, what do you do about it? Work? Read? Try cures? Hmmm... Did you ever find one that worked?

Now that I learned surfing and blogging, I make use of the computer more than ever. I will work, chat with my brother who lives abroad so the time zone thing is less hazardous to him-I mean I am awake at odd hours here but it is still ok for him, play games on the computer and yes, I still read books too.

Threesome: for sleep-- Female/male, young/not so young, we all need varying amounts of sleep. What's your personal sleep cycle? Five hours? Ten hours? ...and if you had a choice, what would be your personal sleep cycle? ...and yes, "All day long" is a valid answer.

I would need 8-10hours to be alive again.Nevertheless, there are times when I can go without sleep when I am reading a very absorbing novel.

What's Your EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient)?

Your EQ is 120

You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.

On an average day, you're quite happy, together, and content. You live your life well.

Your emotions aren't always stable, but you can go along with the ups and downs pretty well.

You tend to be motivated, energetic, focused, and level headed.

You see the world pretty rationally, and you don't tend to over dramatize things. When things are bad, you know they eventually have to get better.

Whereas the top part of the analysis is from the generated code after answering the questions, it is rather accurate barring the energetic, focused and motivated part. I am finding it harder and harder to do so in all that I do. Sometimes I feel good and yes, I can feel motivated. At other times, I just feeling like nothing is worth doing. But what do you know, at this moment now, I am motivated and focused.
